The wall bed mechanism has a minimum 10 years of lifetime and this period will extend much longer depending on a careful usage. Today, many people still use their 25 years old wall beds in many homes. The Primer Double Bed is produced with a high quality laminated chipboard, which is EU quality standard. All visible or hidden edges are banded with PVC material.

One of the most frequently asked questions about these wall beds is about the risk of opening/closing of the bed unexpectedly. Multimo Furniture ensures opening and closing function of all wall beds with gas-springs. The nature of gas-spring only lets it operate when an opposite force is applied. This means, if a certain manual strength is not applied, the system does not open or close itself, so the bed does not move.

• The mattress rests neatly within the assembled frame, no slats are required which cuts down on the amount of materials used and reduces the overall cost to the customer.
• The bed can also be left made up using the bedding strap provided, so unlike a sofa bed you will not need to make the bed up after each sleep.

Delivery Lead Time

Most complete systems are in stock. Mainland UK delivery times - please allow up to 1-2 weeks for products in stock. Fast UK delivery may be arranged dependent on location - contact us for more details. If product is showing as available on back order, please contact us so we can advise on a realistic delivery timescale based on your location. Whilst complete wall bed furniture systems may be in stock and available, some are manufactured to order, predominantly orders containing products with fabric such as custom headboards and sofas. We aim to deliver custom orders within 12-16 weeks for delivery. Please bear in mind that supply chain issues beyond our control may impact lead times, but we continue to do our best to accommodate requirements. If your order is urgent or you have any questions regarding lead times, please contact us before placing the order, so we can provide a realistic timescale for delivery. If required, we can hold stock for customers until they are ready to receive their order. We appreciate not all customers can take quick delivery, so are able to keep hold of their order until they are able to receive it. By placing an order this allocates the stock until it is ready for dispatch.
